Fitness Week Celebration

Traditional Games

Academic Heights Public School conducted the fitness week celebration to create awareness of the benefits of physical activities that help to maintain good health. We conducted fun-filled activities day-wise which included Yoga, Freehand exercises, and Aerobics to help to breathe harder to help the heart beat faster as a result to increase the lungs and the heart fitness. We also conducted some traditional games outdoor and indoor to help the children to think for themselves, learn co-operation, and learn teamwork skills. Traditional games like Skipping, 7 Stones, Goti, Marbles, Bongaralu aata Lattu, Aadu Puli Aatam, etc. to make the child learn to work on strategies and tactics with these games the child also learn to develop skills such as patience, respect, turn-taking, and being part of the team. This fitness week was very interesting as well as fun making along with creativity to stimulate a child’s growth physically and mentally.
